GOT GUTTERS?

Raingutters are an essential part keeping water out of the basement, trenches out of flower beds and dangerous ice hazards in the winter. Also a great way to capture rain water in large tanks for use in watering gardens when the rain is gone.

Gutter Installations:
We use the heaviest and thickest gauge materials available. We will arrive at your house in a 15 foot box truck with a crew of 1 to 3 guys. Your gutters are not brought in pieces and then glued together, they are custom made for your house on sight. These are seamless with a high gloss white finish or 16 other available colors and we also offer seamless copper and steel gutters.

To install your gutters, we use screw type Fascia hidden hangers that are spaced two feet apart (or less) for superior strength. If installation process requires a different type of fastener we can also use galvanized ring shank nails or a roof strap hanger.

The down spouts are installed to drain appoximatley 12 inches off the ground. If you have underground lines we have adaptor for those lines which we'll install at an additional charge. We also offer and install the larger 3x4 oversized down spouts. These are nine times less likely to clog and they handle almost twice the water volume as the standard 2x3 down spouts.

The corners are double coated for superior leak protection. The first coat goes between the aluminum, which is then screwed together. The second is a specialized sealant type adhesive that gets full coverage.

Leaking Corners:
First, we scrape out the old sealant that's in the gutter. Then we clean the surface area of debris & mud. Next we scuff the surface of the gutter with sandpaper so the new sealant has something to grab onto. Finely, we apply a coat of specialized sealant to the entire corner. We insure the transition between the drip edge and the gutter is properly flashed and sealed.

Old Gutter Repairs:
Most older gutters are held up with a smooth shaft aluminum nail. We do a galvanized ring shank nail replacement. We pull out all the nails in the old gutter, re-pitch it if necessary so the water flows in the right direction and replace the nails with seven inch ring shank spikes. When the gutter is held in by the smooth shaft nail, it does not hold into the wood so when the gutter fills up with water and ice it gets very heavy and will easily detach from your home. When you call Valley Trades Inc. we will replace your nails with ring shank spikes, we don't just go up there and hammer the nails back in. We can use a screw type hanger when using nails isn't solid enough for the best installation. A brand new gutter can cost as much as $1500.00 or more. To prevent your gutter from coming down and to get a huge savings of less than half the cost of a new gutter, call Valley Trades Inc. today.

Our gutters have a worry free two year warranty that covers labor and also a lifetime warranty on the material. You will no longer have to worry that the finish of the gutter will peel, have leaking corners, end caps, or seams. You will also never have to worry about the gutters pulling off the house, miss pitching, or sagging.
